Jimmy Favareau, son of Dr. and Mrs. James E. Favareau was honored with a swim party and lunch at the home of his parents on Friday, June 8 to celebrate Jimmy’s 8th birthday and his entire first grade class of Wakefield School for an end of the year class party. Present for the event were nineteen class members, and parents, totaling approximately thirty guests.

The Flint Hill firemen will have their second annual Father’s Day breakfast at the fire hall on June 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Plan now to take Dad out for breakfast or brunch.

Renee Calisto and Doris Vest attended a baby shower honoring Alice Nicholson at Front Royal on Sunday.

Mrs. Mary Hickerson spent Thursday to Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Lillard and Dayna at Springfield.

Our sympathy to the family of Mr. W.A. Gentry who passed away Saturday. Services were held on Tuesday at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, with burial at Flint Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Alice Virginia Butler of Front Royal was a Saturday guest of her mother Mrs. Wade Pullen.
