Tickets to the 9th annual Virginia Food Festival on Aug. 1 at the State Fairgrounds in Richmond are going fast, according to festival Chairman C.M. “Chuck” Saunders, but tickets are still available.
The event is sponsored by the Virginia Agribusiness Council with the help of a number of the state’s major agricultural commodity groups and associations.
Sale of tickets to this year’s event will be limited to 5,000 people. Over 3,600 tickets to the event have already been sold and sales are brisk, according to Mr. Saunders. No tickets will be sold at the gate.
This yeaFs menu will include tasty pork, seafood, beef, chicken, lamb, veal, apple, peanut, fresh produce and egg dishes and corn-on-thecob and dairy products including ice cream.
