RICHMOND — The American Lung Association of Virginia (ALAV), along with its affiliate the American Lung Association of Northern Virginia (ALANV) is accepting registrations for the fifth annual Colonial Virginia Bike Trek, Oct. 5-7 in Williamsburg.
For a $25, non-refundable regis- ' tration fee and at least $275 in donations to the lung association, cyclists ' will enjoy a two-day, 100-mile (50 miles each day) journey through Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown and Surry County.
Trekkers will receive two nights ' lodging at the Williamsburg Hilton; , a welcome reception; breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday; Italian feast Saturday evening; Colonial Virginia Bike Trek shirt; and prize incentives for trekkers raising above the minimum.
Last year 464 trekkers helped raise $202,000 to support lung association programs.
