Alice Reeve, a 4-H’er in Rappahannock County, has been selected to be an International 4-H Youth Exchange (IFYE) delegate for 1990.
She is one of six 4-H’ers in Virginia selected to be an IFYE delegate for 1990. Alice will be visiting Germany for six weeks and living with 4-H host families in Germany. Her departure date is June 26.
“We are very proud of Alice and excited that she has been selected to represent 4-H’ers throughout Virginia and the United States as an IFYE Ambassador this summer,” commented Helen Smith, Extension Agent. “The advantage of being a 4H IFYE is that Alice will gain far more than the average tourist because she will be involved in real life experiences with her host families and the culture of another land.”
