“We appreciate the support of all those in the community who attended the pageant, and also those individuals and businesses who contributed to help sponsor the pageant with both donations and door prizes,” said one of the organizers. “Without the support of the community, we would be unable to continue to provide quality EMS care to our neighbors.”

The Sperryville squad, the spokesman said. And, the organizers added, “we hope that those outside the Sperryville squad’s service area will support their local fire department and rescue squad as generously as we have been supported. Those squads are volunteers also, and depend on the support of their communities to serve their neighbors.”
