Memorial services were held June 24 at New Life in Christ Lutheran Church in Duncanville, Texas, with interment in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.

A.C. Jenkins, 83, of Madison died July 19 at Martha Jefferson Hospital.
lib'. Jenkins was born October 30, 1906, in Washington, the son of the late Joseph Jenkins and Maxine P. Jenkins.
He was retired from Stanley Petroleum Company and was a member of Madison United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel (Dolly) Jenkins, who he was married to for 58 years; one son, Alfred Jenkins of Harwood, Texas; one daughter, Susan J. Vazquez of Barboursville; one sister, Mary Norman of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 21 at Madison United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Lyle officiating.
