This summer marks the 28th season of the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival in Orkney Springs.
This season, which runs from July 20 through Labor Day Weekend, will offer seven outdoor evening concerts, a children’s program, arts and crafts and storytelling, and as always old-fashioned ice cream socials and picnics on the lawn.
On Saturday, Aug. 11, the music and dance of Brazil comes to Orkney Springs in a performance by the Carmen Miranda Samba School of Washington, D.C.
