NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on August 8, 1990, at 8:00 o’clock P.M., in the Courtroom of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, in Washington, Virginia, the Town Council of the Town of Washington, Virginia, will hold public hearings on the matters set out below. The Town Council meeting will begin at 7:30 P.M., and the public hearings will be held at 8:00 o’clock P.M. or as soon thereafter as the Council’s schedule will allow.

The items on which the Town Council will hold public hearings are:

1. The consideration of the adoption of a Cable Television Ordinance for the Town of Washington, Virginia, pursuant to Section 15.1-231 of the Code of Virginia, 45 U.S.C. Section 521 et. seq. and 47 C.F.R. Part 76. A copy of the proposed Cable Television Ordinance is available at the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, and at the office of the County Administrator for Rappahannock County in Washington Virginia.

2. The consideration of an Amendment to the Budget of the Town of Washington Waterworks for the Fiscal year of 1991. A copy of the approved budget and the proposed Amendment to the Budget is available at the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, and at the office of the County Administrator for Rappahannock County in Washington, Virginia.

All persons wishing to be heard on the above items should be present at the Public Hearing and make their views known.
