Dr. Gangel pointed out that the figures are only estimates at this point and do not include the widely rumored five percent reduction in overall state funds that might reduce income to the county to operate schools by another $63,560.
“This school division’s goal is to continuously improve,” Dr. Gangel told the supervisors. “This year that is tempered by a large dose of reality.” He promised to keep the supervisors informed as more reliable information becomes available.
