The Board of Zoning Appeals approved two new bed and breakfast establishments, but tabled action on a family apartment until the applicant can appear to answer questions.
The first application considered was for a bed and breakfast at Douglas and Eloise Weavers’ Mountain View Farm on Route 707 near Slate Mills.
The approval was for up to four rooms to be rented upstairs. The BZA members told Mr. Weaver they wanted him to come back for a revision to the special use permit if he wanted to also rent out a room in the basement once it is finished.
The BZA members also approved a bed and breakfast for up to three rental rooms for Wayne and Dorothy Waller on Route 612 near Sperryville. For both applicants they asked specific questions about
