Pearl Stringfellow
Mrs. Pearl Jenkins Stringfellow, 88, formerly of Amiss ville, died Dec. 2 in the Rose Hill Nursing Home in Berryville.
She was the widow of Oscar William Stringfellow and was bom Nov. 2, 1902 in Culpeper County to the late Early and Judy Yowell Jenkins.
She is survived by three sons, Charles Stringfellow of Brandy Station, Eugene Stringfellow of Winchester and Roy Stringfellow of Castleton; four daughters, Helen Stringfellow and Mrs. Ruth Glascock, both of Amissville; Ella Stringfellow and Lillian Stringfellow, both of Culpeper; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Dec. 4 in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Thomas H. Everett officiating.
Pallbearers were Clarence Wharton, Charlie Griffith, Kenneth Glascock, Bill Zeiher, Wilbur Glascock and Kelly Glascock.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
