Wood teaches pruning
Forester and arborist Lyt Wood wilt present two one-day workshops on "The Art of Pruning" on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7 and 8. The workshops will be held at the Orland E. White Arboretum, Virginia's State Arboretum, located at Blandy Farm on U.S. 340 in Clarke County. It will introduce participants to the proper methods to prune all types of trees, and students will be able to prune a mature apple tree. Pruning will be approached as a creative process.
