If you’re like me, one of my favorite holiday foods is the cranberry. It’s tart flavor and bright red color accent many holiday foods. Cranberries are one of only three native North American fruits. (Concord grapes and blueberries are the others). Long before the Pilgrims arrived, North American Indians had used cranberries in foods, dyes and even medicine.
