Grace Barnes
Grace W. Barnes, 88, of Reading, Pa. died Nov. 7 at 6:15 a.m. in Community General Hospital, where she had been a patient since Oct. 4.
Her husband, Jesse Barnes, died in March 1975.
Bom in Amissville, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah C. (Brown) Wigenton.
She was a member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church and served as honorary president of its stewardess board.
Five daughters survive, Agnes, wife of Dr. Harold Perry and Sarah B. Barnes, both of Detroit, Mich., Rita Moore of Austin, Texas, Anne, wife of Dr. Phillip Rice Sr. of Manchester, Conn, and Jessie Page of Dallas, Texas.
She is also survived by seven sons, Carl Barnes of Reading, Allen Barnes of Arlington, Texas, Kelly Barnes of Atlanta, Ga., Curtis Bar
