Next up was incumbent state senator Kevin Miller, R-26th, who predicted the coming election might net the Republicans another seat or two in the Senate.
“Even some leading Democrats say on the Senate side we might pick up three-to-five seats,” said Sen. Miller. “By 1993, if not this year, the Republicans will be a majority in the House of Delegates.”
