The Rappahannock Board of Supervisors voted Monday to appropriate $1,000 each to the Rappahannock Athletic Association, for youth baseball, and to the Rappahannock Soccer League.
The supervisors also agreed to advertise to hold a public hearing about an agrement to lease a 6.88acre parcel off Route 642 in Amissville to the RAA to expand its program. The land was formerly the location of the Amissville dumpsters and before that it was a landfill site.
