Simply aerobics

Simply Aerobics is coming to Washington starting Oct. 21 at Trinity Episcopal Church. Classes will be held Monday and Friday mornings at 9 a.m. and Wednesday mornings, with time to be announced at a later date. A babysitter will be provided. For more information call Beth Levick, 675-3108.

Reunion scheduled

Halloween dance

Haunting melodies

Native American flutist, R. Carlos Nakai, will perform his haunting melodies at the Theatre at Washington, Va. at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. Local pianist Peter Kater will make a guest appearance to perform a few songs from their collaborative “Natives” recording. Trail ride and pig roast

A trail ride and pig roast will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2 beginning at 11 a.m. Ride is about 10 miles in Rappahannock County. Entry fee is $17 if received by Oct. 26. Horses are available for lease. Negative coggins required. For more information call John or Jennifer at 675-3307.

Action group to meet

The Rainforest Action Group of Rappahannock will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10 at Middle St. Gallery. New members are still being accepted. The goal of the group is to protect the world’s rainforests and local rainforests. For more information call Sher Willis at 9879438.
