It’s the season for graduations, and Rappahannock’s seventh graders also had a graduation ceremony last Wednesday with parents and guests and lots of awards.
“What you make of the future is all up to you,” Principal David Smith told the graduating seventh graders. “Good luck!”
Physical education teacher Carol Nowakoski presented President’s Physical Fitness Awards to third graders jenny Waters and Candace Dennis, fourth graders Chad Heddleston and Frank Paratore, fifth graders Chris Dennis, Donnie McQuillan, Jocab Gray, Jason Brown and Irwin Phillips, sixth graders Trey Smith and Todd Tomlinson and seventh graders John Heddleston, Melissa Dodson and Adam Kerr.
Sixth grader Wesley Welk won an award and a $50 savings bond from Potomac Edison for his winning poster on electrical safety.
