To the Editor:
Apparently the editor was not well informed when he prepared last week’s editorial concerning H. Ross Perot. The editorial stated that Mr. Perot had not considered that solving our nation’s problems will require “sacrifices from our leaders, as well as the people." So far, Ross Perot is the only Presidential contender that has said “We are out of money” and that everyone will have to sacrifice. He reiterated this stand last week on the NBC’s “Today” show when he said, “If you can’t stand a little pain, and can’t stand a little sacrifice ... we are never going to straighten this country out.” He continued, “All sacrifices must start at the top ... set the example ... that’s an important principle.”
Regarding his candidacy, Mr. Perot has made his status quite clear: “If the people place me on the ballot in 50 states ... I will run for
