County Gibbons for Congress Committee. A committee is being organized under Mr. Keysets leadership and will be announced shortly. There will be representatives from every section of the county, Mr. Keyser stated.

In announcing Mr. Keyser’s appointment, William Conrad Gibbons of Harrisonburg, one of the candidates for the Seventh District Congressional seat, said, “Mr. Keyser is held in very high regard by the citizens of Rappahannock County and I am very pleased and proud to have his support and assistance.”

Avon Hall in Washington,

Va., the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Carrigan, will again be the scene for a festive evening of entertainment and a grand fireworks display this coming July 4. The public is invited to sit on the hillsides around the lake at Avon Hall to hear the martial music piped all over the grounds, along with guest speakers.
