The marriage of Deborah Lynn Perryman of Culpeper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edd H. Perryman of Culpeper to Charles William Frye of Castleton, son of Shirley Frye Hitt and the late Carroll C. Frye of Castleton took place at 2 p.m. on May 9 at Stevensburg Baptist Church, Stevensburg.
The Rev. Philip A. Walker performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore an elegant fulllength gown of white taffeta and late. The fitted bodice featured short sleeves, basque waist, and a V-neckline with sheer illusion. The bodice was further accented with delicate pearls and sequins. The full gathered skirt consisted of tiers of scalloping taffeta giving way to tiers of lace at the hemline. The skirt flowed into a chapel train. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses, baby’s breath and ivy.
Maid of honor was Karie A. Hunt of Stevensburg, friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Eleanor S. Allen of Portsmouth, friend of the bride, D. Gail Hitt of Castleton, sister of the groom, and Shannon Wynn of Richmond, friend of the bride.
All attendants wore tea length dresses of primrose taffeta with ftill skirts gathered to a fitted bodice featuring graceful swooped necklines and tapered and shirred sleeves.
The attendants carried cascading bouquet of pink and white carnations, baby’s breath and ivy.
The best man was Carroll W. Frye of Manassas, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Donald L. Baker of Rapidan, friend of the groom, Michael R. Perryman of Madison, brother of the bride, and Warren Wolfrey of Manassas, friend of the groom.
