Combine all ingredients; mix well. Cover and chill at least 2 hours. Yield: about 21/4 cups. Cheese loaf: 3 cups self-rising flour 1/4 cup sugar 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 teaspoon minced onion flakes 1 egg, slightly beaten 11/2 cups milk 1/4 cup vegetable oil Combine first 4 ingredients; mix well. Add remaining ingredients; stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Grease the bottom of a 9- x 5-x 3-inch loafpan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Yield: 1 loaf.
