Bluemont series begins
The Bluemont Concert Series will begin its popular outdoor summer concerts next weekend in Culpeper and Warrenton.
On Friday, June 26, Lancelot and the Outtahand Band will play on the courthouse lawn in Culpeper, in the Culpeper series kickoff.
On Saturday, June 27, John '' ’ McCutcheon will bring his blend of songwriting and storytelling to Warrenton in the first of the Warren Green summer concert series.
The Bluemont concerts begin at 7:30 { p.m., and although there is no admission charge, a $3 donation is suggested to help defray the cost of the concerts. Other concerts planned during the summer include the Pan Masters Steel Orchestra, the Johnson Mountain Boys, Too Much Fun, the Tom Cunningham Orchestra and other groups.
