Capt. William Wiener, who
has recently moved to Charlottesville, has resigned as Coordinator of Civil Defense for Rappahannock County. Capt. Wiener had done an excellent job of executing his duties in that position. He has kept up to date on Civil Defense and was especially good in keeping the public informed. T.C. Lea, Jr. has been appointed to fill this position.
Miss Bonnie Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown of Woodville, Va., and a 1962 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, was awarded the State FHA two year scholarship last week at the FHA convention at Hotel Chamberlain, Fort Monroe, Va. The award was granted on the basis of outstanding achievement In the field of Home Economics. Miss Brown will attend Bridgewater College.
