To the Editor:
I want to give a heartfelt “thank you” from the students of RCES and myself to the RCES PTO for all they have done for the physical education program this year.
Among other things, the PTO paid $150 to the All Net Basketball Camp so that two students could attend camp, catered a party for our " winning field day team, donated Tshirts hand designed by Maggie Rogers for our annual field day mile, and donated $100 and future labor to construct a badly needed storage area on the stage.
The PTO has also expressed an interest in helping to promote fitness in our children by helping me begin a miler’s club next year.
Several PTO members took over the monumental task of counting thousands of Campbell’s Soup labels and bundling them up to be mailed. Thanks for all you have done for these kids!
