The featured dog at the shelter in Amissville this week is a shepherd cross, female, two years old, cream color with red on back, found on U.S. 211 near Faith Mountain, friendly pet. Other dogs available this week include a spaniel cross, reddish color, female, one-year-old, found on U.S. 522 in Woodville; dobermanshepherd, five-year-old female, black and tan, free spaying; 11-yearold male, grey poodle, named Whiskey, owner died; lab cross, male, three-year-old, black with white on chest and feet; rottweiler, black and tan, purebred, one-year-old female, friendly, found on U.S. 522, Huntly dumpster. Also available is a black and white 3-4-year old male cat. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
