They also decided to depend on members of the town’s boards to serve as secretaries, rather than having paid secretaries to record and transcribe minutes.
The council also voted to cut another $5,000 from administration and $5,000 from capital improvements.
The council said it wanted to see if improvements to the town hall could be paid for by fund raising, rather than by increasing taxes.
