FILLING FATHER S SHOES
*Clop..clop..clop; this is kinds' fun, walking in Dad's shoes, but how does he do it all the time? They are so big and heavy I Will I ever be able to fill them, even in a million years?*
From this young boy's perspective, it seems an impossibility. Yet, nourished by his father physically and spiritually, it is possible that one day he shall be able to fill his father's shoes.
A father possesses great power. Acts 7:51 states, ’as your fathers did. so do ye.’ This Sunday, as we honor fatherhood, may all fathers realize their power, and use It for good; and may their children respect that power so as to grow in the knowledge of their father's wisdom and love.
Let us ultimately remember the power of our Heavenly Father as we worship Him this Father's Day. No one will ever lill His shoes.
