Someday this summer the county library will be completely automated, with the catalogue and the checkout system handled by computer, but first the library will be closed Monday through Wednesday May 3-5 for inventory.
Librarian Nicki Lynch asked to Have the library closed for five days, but Library Board members balked at that. After discussing the option of conducting the inventory with the library open or partly open, the board compromised on the three day dosing.
Board member Helen Platt voted against any closing of the library.
Mrs. Lynch said she had talked about her wish list with members of the Friends of the Rappahannock Library and said
