In addition to the eight cameras, HTS producer Glass will use four videotape replay machines giving Gold Cup viewers across the nation an unparalleled look at steeplechasing.
Glass said one of the most difficult aspects of covering the Gold Cup from a production viewpoint are the cable runs. Yards of cable must be run to the many cameras, much of which must be buried in order not to create a hazard.
