Frances Dennis
Frances Mae Dennis, 64, of Orange, died Friday, April 23 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was bom on July 15, 1928 in Madison County.
She was a member of Etlan United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her parents Willie Woodward and Myrtle Broyles Woodward of Etlan; her husband John J. Dennis of Orange; three daughters Brenda D. Hitt of Amissville, Mollie D., Welch of Flint Hill and Rose E. Smith of Warrenton; two sons Ronnie Dennis of Madison and Steven W. Dennis of Flint Hill.
Also surviving are two brothers Pete Woodward of Sperryville and Dewey Woodward of Etlan; five sisters Beulah McDaniel and Allie Haley, both of Madison, Mary Carpenter of Aroda, Betty Fincham and Connie Dyer, both of Etlan; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 26 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Pastor Charles Shifflett officiated.
Interment was in Madison Memorial Gardens.
Mary Walker
Mary Lucille Walker, 55, of Viewtown, died Monday. April 26 at Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church.
Mrs. Walker was born March 25. 1938 in Fauquier County. She was a housewife.
In addition to her husband L.H. Walker of Viewtown, she is survived by her mother Mrs. Ada D. Elkins of Markham; three daughters Cathy Embrey of Front Royal. Connie Payne of Amissville and Brenda Patton of Washington; a stepdaughter Donna Sheffield of Viewtown; a son Kenneth Eline of WAshington and five stepsons Harold Walker and Ray Walker both of Culpeper, Landon Walker of Viewtown. Clint Walker and Joe Walker both of Nashville, Tenn.
