Funeral services will be held at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 29. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton with the Rev. Milton Switzer, officating.
The family will receive friends at Moser Funeral Home from 7-9p.m. on Wednesday.
The family request that flowers or donations be made to the Amissville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Reuben Blanton
Reuben Lee Blanton Sr., 78, of Amelia, died April 22.
He is survived by his wife Nelly Clay Blanton; son Reuben L. Blanton Jr. of Amelia; daughters Betty B. Wood of Woodville and Mary Nell Blanton of Amelia; brother Robert Walter Blanton of Blacksburg and a grandson Henry Barnett Wood III of Woodville.
Mr. Blanton was a life-long member of Tabernacle Methodist Church in Amelia, where services were held on Sunday.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Contributions may be made to Tabernacle Methodist Church Building Fund or Amelia Rescue Squad.
Wilson Jenkins
Wilson Alfred Jenkins, 60, of Marshall, died Sunday, April 25 at Warrenton.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, April 28 in Sperry ville Cemetery by the Rev. John K. Burke.
Mr. Jenkins was born May 12, 1932, in Sperryville. He was a building carpenter and plumber.
Surviving are two brothers Jack Jenkins of Washington and Frederick H. Jenkins of Marshall and a sister Ruth Ann Smoot of Front Royal.
Arrangements are being handled by the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton.
