By SHARON KILPATRICK ' Rappahannock News Staff Writer < The course records for the Fodderstack 10K race are safe for another year.

Ken Wolters of Alexandria was the fastest runner finishing the race in 33 minutes flat, behind the pace of 31:26 set by Steve Pinard in 1985. The women’s record of 36:46 set by Kim Belya in 1986 was also safe. Monica Grillo was the fastest woman at 39:54 Saturday. ... The Eva Smith Memorial trophies to the first Rappahannock man and woman to finish the race were won by Jason Waters and Nina Stamer, a repeat of last year’s results.
