Road to Recovery in which volunteers assist patients by providing transportation to area hospitals for follow-up treatment. Some hospital equipment can be made available to patients for home use. The real strength of the American Cancer Society lies in its volunteers. Motivated by their concern for others, they do work of the American Cancer Society, and are dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. . We know you will be generous in your support. If our volunteers miss you, pre-addressed envelopes will be in local Post Offices.
