DELEGATES DISTRICT
The 31st House of Delegates District Democratic Nominating Committee (composed of the chairmen of the Democratic Committees of Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren counties) announces that filings will be taken for Democratic Party candidates for the office of Member of the Virginia House of Delegates and that a Mass Meeting will be held to select the 1993 General Election (November 2,1993) Democratic Party nominee for this office. Persons must certify, at the time of filing, that they are registered voters within the boundaries of the 31 st House of Delegates District (Fauquier Co. less The Plains and Upperville precincts; Rappahannock Co.; Warren Co. precincts of Browntown, Town Fork, Town Happy Creek and Town River South), are twenty-one years of age by the time of election, and a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia for one year immediately preceding the election, and that they subscribe to the principles of the Democratic Party and do not intend to support, by any means, any candidate who is opposed to a Democratic nominee in the next ensuing election. Interested persons must file their intentions to seek the nomination in person, by 5:00 PM, Sunday, May 9,1993, with the Chairman of the 31 st House of Delegates District Democratic Nominating Committee:

or (703) 734-6064 (Office) The Mass Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 18,1993, at 7:00 PM, in the Family Life Center, next to the 1st Baptist Church, Alexandria Pike, Warrenton, VA. All registered voters who live within the boundaries of the 31st District may participate in the mass meeting after certifying that they subscribe to the principles of the Democratic Party and do not intend to support, by any means, any candidate who is opposed to a Democratic nominee in the next ensuing election. In the event that no more than one person has filed for this nomination, the mass meeting will not be held.
