May Day festival
at Spring Mountain

May Day is almost here! Final preparations are in progress. We have added pony rides and face painting to our list of activities for
the May Day festival May 1. Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., pony rides from 11 a.m.-lp.m.
There will be nature walks, games, stories, live music, the Maypole Dance, in other words, lots of opportunities for fun. We invite all our friends and neighbors to join us.
While all the students are busy preparing for the festival, the older students are also pursuing their aca. demic studies. They have just been introduced to cursive writing and are preparing to start a new math book. Their reports relating to the Birds of Prey program were well done, and they are looking forward to another presentation by the Virginia Wildlife Center on May 14.

Drive by Culpeper Memorial Hospital and have your blood pressure taken on Thursday; May 6.
A free drive-through blood pressure screen will be held at the front of the hospital from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
