Beverly Cosham returns to The Theatre at Washington at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 8 in nostalgic mood. Known widely for her interpretations of Broadway and the blues, the upcoming evening will bring a more romantic spirit with the music of Kern, Porter, Gershwin, Berlin, and others, featuring favorite love songs such as “At Last,” “Star Dust,” “Hello Young Lovers.”
The atmosphere is reminiscent of the old Palm Court musical evenings, as Cosham will be accompanied by Deborah Milan on cello, George Hummel on reeds, as well as Maureen Codelka on piano. Turning her back on ballads of pain and sorrow for the time being, the focus will be on songs of love and romance.
