At last Tuesday’s School Board meeting high school Principal John Toth briefed board members on sexual harassment. Mr. Toth said there are no policies currently in writing covering the issue, and the board attorney will draft policies for the board to adopt before the start of school.
Assistant Superintendent Robert Chappell said that the board has policies covering the issues of discrimination on the basis of sex or disability, and that those policies are being used to cover sexual harassment.
Mr. Toth also said that he had met with students at each grade level in the high school to tell them that sexual harassment will not be allowed. He said students were urged to report cases of sexual harassment to the office and there had
