Bailey of Front Royal; a daughter, Gloria B. Thompson of Washington, D.C.; a foster son, Gilbert E. Baltimore of Ashbum; three brothers, Harry Bailey of Plainsfield, N.J. and Walter Bailey and Gene Bailey, both of Front Royal; a granddaughter and two foster granddaughters.
Pallbearers were Paul Brooks, Rudolph Sloane, William Roberts, Eugene Cook, Samuel Jett and Melvin Jordan.
Irving Starks Sr.
Irving O. “Bill” Starks Sr., of Washington died Sunday, July 18 at the Culpeper Health Care Center.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lois J. Starks of Washington; four children, Emmett Starks of Culpeper, Monica Starks of Woodbridge, Joyce Starks and Irvin Starks both of Washington.
Also surviving are three sisters, Esther Whitehead of Washington, D.C., Aurlia Fuller of South Carolina, Irma Kohl of Washington, D.C., and one brother, Otto Starks of North Carolina and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Washington, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21 with the Rev. Forrest Freeman officiating.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper is in charge of the arrangements.
