On Saturday, Aug. 14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. the Amissville Ruritan Club, Inc. will host their annual BBQ an Family Fun Day. The event will be held at Stuart Field on U.S. 211, the lane just below Amiss vile Methodist Church. \
Invents will indildc Sunny 94, live broadcast from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Live entertainment, bring your °wn lawn chair or blanket; Petting Zoo; Moon Bounce rides; ^mes; BBQ to start serving at 11 a.m.; Horseshoe Tournament; Kaffle Booth; Bake Sale and Crowning of Miss and Mr. Ruritan 1993. Kain date is Saturday, Aug. 21.
RAA Picnic

Fireman's Carnival and Parade
Come and have fun at the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department’s carnival and parade Wednesday, July 28 through Saturday, July 31. Wednesday is kids night and ride from 7-10 for $6 and from Thursday until Saturday ride from 7-10 p.m. for $7. On Saturday night prizes will be awarded and include a 1993 Ford, registered Black Angus, freshley bred and with calf at side, dinner tickets to The Inn and Four Mid Twenty Blackbird, Redskin Season tickets, homemade quilt and afghan, hand painted Rappahannock “Limited Edition” picture and many other items.
Drevas Exhibits in Warrenton
Jeanne Drevas, Sperryville, will be exhibiting her work at Studio 19, Warrenton, through August 5. She is known for her technique ol low-salt fired porcelain which featured huge vessels and works for the wall that “reflect the patterning of the cosmos.”
Library Board to Meet
'Die Rappahannock Library Board will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday , July 22 at the Library. The public is invited to attend.
