Several of the Rappahannock County 4-H clubs took educational field trip as their learning activity during the .month of October.

Both the ‘4-H Cooking and Crafts Club and the 4-H Junior Garden Club visited Mel Naumann's orchard near Flint Hill to leam about his antique apples. He has more than 200 varieties of apples growing in his orchard.

On Oct. 26 the 4-H Cloverbud Small Animal Club, under the leadership of Linda Tarry, visited the Frontier Heritage Farm Museum near Staunton, which shows farming methods of olden days.

On Oct. 13 the 4:H Horse and Pony Club visited a horse farm near Boston.
