Wakefield School, which for six years had made Marshall Manor its temporary home, moved to its permanent, 50-acre campus in The Plains during September of this year.
The newly constructed academic wing includes 26 state-of-the-art classrooms. The school’s 8,300 square foot gym, scheduled for completion this week, will house a regulation size basketball court (the first home court for the Fighting Owls' Varsity and JV basketball and volleyball teams). Two of three regulation size soccer fields have been completed for use by the Wakefield's soccer and lacrosse teams.
