Both strong "people persons" they are lending their culinary talents and work ethic to the demands of running a small country inn. Betty excels in "Southern Cooking" which will soon find its way onto the Thistle Hill menu. Arthur’s fine hand will be seen in the ground work — he is currently struggling with the trees downed by "Fran” — and in the Great Room, where he has taken over the supervision of the part-time wait staff. He keeps the kitchen on its toes.
Plans have been made for Thanksgiving. Dinner will be traditional offering full meal at $15.95 for adults, half price for children under twelve and children four and under eat free.
The meal will consist of appetizer, turkey and dressing, potatoes and gravy, seasonal vegetables, salad, rel*ishes, breads and butter, and assorted desserts. Dinner is strictly by reservation. Call 987-9142.
