Beekeepers To Meet
The Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association will hold its November meeting at.7:30 p.m., Friday, November 22, please note change from usual date at the Culpeper Cooperative Extension Service building, at the comer of South West Street and Davis Street. The program will be: Beeswax, a presentation given by George Kelly of Dadant and Sons. This is a fascinating look at beeswax. All are welcome: prospective beekeepers, new beekeepers and experienced beekeepers. For furthers information contact Ann Harman at 364-4660.
Apple Butter Available
The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department made apple butter over the weekend and it is now available at the cost of $ 16 a gallon or $4 a quart. All proceeds will benefit the fire department. To get yours call Jeff at 636-3279 or 635-5482.
Parenting Training Sessions Set
Free training entitled, Effective Parenting of Teenagers is going on now and will continue for six sessions at the Rappahannock Elementary School. Each meeting will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is open to the public. For more information and to register, call Valerie at 675-3313.
Open House at Winery
The Oasis Winery will be hosting an open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 featuring complimentary hor d'oeuvres, wine tastings, winery tours, Virginia made specialty food and gift products and live music on stage.

Raffle Tickets Available
A NASCAR raffle to benefit The Flint Volunteer Fire Department is currently underway. The Daytona 500 package includes five nights stay for two with Oceanfront hotel on Daytona Beach and $600 cash for travel. The donation is $10 per ticket and only 1,000 will be sold. Drawing will be December 21, 1996 for the February trip. Tickets may be purchased from any fire department member or by calling Connie HuffHarris at 675-3389.
