first major show in the east, and Mr. Kvames said he is proud to have relatively unknown work of this quality. .
"It is important to have the work of artists that have hit their stride in quality, but don't quite have the name they deserve yet.” said Mr. Kvames.
The longtime problem of access to the gallery has been solved by Mr. Kvames and friend Michael Doyle. They designed and built a bridge incorporating the towers of a 1934 ferris wheel which had been abandoned in the former junkyard. “It has quickly become a Sperryville landmark." said Mr. Kvarnes.
Glassworks Gallery is located on U S. 211 across from Mountainside Market. During the grand opening, glassblowing demonstrations will be given and visitors will be able to meet many of the exhibiting artists. Refreshments will be served.
