I though I did a very good job, and that it would be of special interest to Jeffrey who’d just become a Webelos scout. Well, at least the interest in carrying the map became evident, and had to devise a plan that would satisfy three children. Letting two take turns with the map and giving the third a pen and paper to take notes on.
After our visit to the cemetery where we had some snacks and took a picture, and explaining or answering a barrage of questions (to the best of my ability) we headed north. I wanted to try and locate another old house site that I'd not found before. The old road being exactly were the map indicated, though you don't see the downed trees, etc. on the map.
