One especially nice feature of the gallery is the addition of viewing windows so that visitors will be able to watch the glassblowers at work. Mr. Kvames suggests calling ahead to be sure of seeing glassblowing in action, as studio production schedules may vary.
The lower floor of the gallery showcases the work of all the Oldway artists. "At one end is a freeform stone wall and fountain with plants to give a reminder of the lush forests nearby," said Mr. Kvames.
The upstairs will host various art shows changing on a monthly basis. The first one will feature the work of photographers Fred and Lara Ellis of Luray. The show will consist of black and white figure studies. This is their
