The Rappahannock County 4-H Livestock Club, along with 20 other counties went to Blacksburg for the State 4-H Livestock Judging Contest on June 21. They judged classes of beef cattle, sheep, and swine, interpreted performance records, answered questions, and gave reasons. A total of 129 contestants competed.
In the competition the junior team representing Rappahannock County consisted of Phillip Thomas, Nathan Corbin and David Massie. As a team they did very well. The junior team took home 8th place in
