Announcement# CD5797 The Fauquier County Department of Community Development, Building Inspections Division, is seeking applications for this full time position. The major duties include performing building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing inspections and investigating residential, commercial, and industrial construction for compliance with applicable national, state, and local code requirements and life safety practices. Requires any combination of education and experience and equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by course work in a variety of inspection specialties and extensive experience in the building construction trade. State of Virginia certification as a Combination Inspector and General Building, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Inspector is preferred.
