The Rappahannock
Community has again enjoyed a successful and happy celebration of Independence Day in the Town of Washington. I would like, on behalf of the community, to express my appreciation to RAAC for managing this major endeavor on behalf of the Tbwn and doing such a tremendous job. Further, as - always, I express my particular appreciation to Mr. William Carrigan for providing the use of his property for the celebration and for his participation in the festivities.
Special recognition and thanks are also given this year to the volunteers who, under the auspices of L.G. “Butch” Zindel, helped in picking up and installing the ropes and other materials that helped control the flow of traffic.
